Helping Twitch forge valuable connections with game developers

Our Approach

Twitch wanted to engage developers by positioning itself as a critical part of a game’s life cycle at 2019’s Game Developer Conference in San Francisco. 

We created a cohesive visual narrative through a digital kiosk experience, taking visitors through the game developer’s process, with the goal to facilitate developer adoption of Twitch technology and products, and drive awareness of Game Developer Playbook content. 

Leveraging the Twitch brand, the design engages visitors through a self-guided touch screen tour, demon­strat­ing how Twitch can be an important integration to all stages of the game development lifecycle.

Engaging a developer audience

Our goal was to capture the imagination of developers and deliver an informative platform that Twitch could deploy at events like GDC. The experience is designed to pull them in from twenty feet away, reward them throughout the experience, and give them ideas for how Twitch can help them connect with their current and potential audience.

By all measures, the GDC touch screen experience was a success for Twitch. This wouldn’t have been possible without The Brigade, who helped us execute on a very ambitious and complicated strategy. They were brilliant, calm under pressure and rad partners.”
