Webtrends Blog
Webtrends had a blog that felt like it belonged to a different brand, limited content discovery across disciplines, didn’t use their tools and was ineffective at generating leads. This redesigned gave the blog a new level of modernism and sophistication, while finding ways to generate leads without getting in the way of the content.
Homepage
With a blog that focuses on everything from digital marketing and avertising, to user experience and application development; it was imperative that the homepage make it easy to discover content across disciplines. In order to pull that off, we went with a magazine-style layout that included featured posts, breakouts in different categories, popular posts and a promotional spot. In order to show off Webtrends tools, we included a small visualization of key blog metrics at the top.
Post Page
The post page highlights the author, key metrics for the post, and uses a low key, “brought to you by” promo for a related Webtrends product. The sidebar offers a more traditional promotion, along with related posts, social highlights and links to other blogs.
