Looking for a freelance front end developer

We’re looking for a freelance front end developer to work with our team in Portland, Ore. You have a diverse background and work well in both design and development. You have a passion for pixel-perfect design and clean semantic code to create rich and engaging user experiences. You thrive when you’re involved in the entire process from the concept to the end product.

Essential skills:

• Work with the latest in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with responsive design and development
• Browser debugging using WebKit Developer Tools or similar
• Understanding of Object-oriented fundamentals
• Know the tools to help reduce cross-browser issues
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub
• Know your way around Adobe Creative Suite
• Have a passion for great design and a hyperactive attention to detail
• Thrive in a fast-paced and challenging agency environment

Bonus Points:

• Understanding of PHP fundamentals
• Experience setting up, customizing, and working with WordPress (without all those gnarly plugins)
• OS X user preferred
